Great way to fix a fresh apple cake! Love the "upside down" part of this recipe. I decided this would be the perfect cake to take to a get-together and it was a hit! This will most likely be a cake that stays in my "go-to" recipes for years to come.

I am NOT a baker of cakes. This turned out perfect, as I had made it for a church group. Some of those ladies have been baking before I was born and I got rave reviews!! I followed all the instructions, but only used Cool Whip for the topping as I had forgot to buy the frosting. My new "best friend" cake that people can actually eat !!

This was the absolute best cake that I have ever made. It was easy to make, and the topping of whipped cream/and frosting is to die for... This is my all time favorite, and will make it for all future gatherings.

I just made this about an hour ago and tested it out on my family. They loved it! The only thing I did differently was I used heavy cream instead of whipping cream. We didn't put any frosting on because the cake was delicious without the whipped topping. You should definitely make this.

I tried this recipe and made individual cupcakes and it was DELICIOUS!!! I had to fight my boyfriend so he wouldnt eat them all! Good Stuff!
