We love this recipe. We like more sauce, so I double that. I also add about an ounce of dried cranberries. I use one Granny Smith apple and one other kind of sweet apple that's in season. I usually keep some in the fridge and my daughter complains loudly if she wants some and we happen to be out!

I make this every Thanksgiving!! I have never tried to use yogurt to make it however. I make it with a pinch of splenda mixed with the lemon juice and fat free cool whip. I also use Granny Smith apples because I prefer them to red. Tastes great and lasts for around 3 days in the fridge.

I used vanilla yogurt instead of the one listed and it tasted wonderful. I didn''t notice a very strong mayo flavor after I chilled it in the fridge for a couple hours after making it. Upon first taste, though, it does taste a little bit like mayo. I am definitely making this again because it was great, but I do suggest chilling it for 2-3 hours after making it.

I used to hate to eat this stuff when I was in grade school. Lately I have developed quite a taste for it. I get to choose which kind of apples to use, and the lighter version doen''t have that strong mayo taste.Yummy, and great to take to gatherings where everyone will be bringing the same old same old.
