Can you picture butter melting on waffles right out of the waffle iron and rich syrup filling those tiny little squares? Yum!

I made these this morning in my Belgian waffle maker. I added a couple good shakes of pumpkin pie spice. They were delicious. My hubby loved them. I froze the rest.

Needs sugar, cinnamon(or pumpkin pie spice) and vanilla extract but they are good. Bland if you dont add these things but thats good if you want to put ham and eggs on them :) Also i use in my waffle maker and they turn out perfect!

Delicious waffles - I substitute unsweetened natural applesauce instead of oil and it gives it an even better taste and is less cholesterol. I wondered why they took this recipe off of the Bisquick box.

We too love waffles but instead of vanilla extract I use just a titch of almond extract and a sprinkle of truvia. Talk about yummy!
