These are the best pancakes I've ever eaten. They were super easy to make. Since it's only my husband my husband and myself, I divided the recipe in 1/2. These were so tender and fluffy and delicious. I will be using this recipe as my only pancake recipe from now on.....thank you for making breakfast easier and delicious! (Even my picky husband loved these.).

These are the best pancakes ever! I tried for years to make my own pancakes "from scratch" with disappointing results (and I'm a pretty good cook!) Once I made this recipe I never looked back. I would not make them any other way.

I have made these for years, my son who is now 32 loved them and he now makes them for sleep over company. I was always lucky and got taken out for breakfast, but he insisted because of not wanting to take my precious grandaughter out. My nephew and his family of 4 said they were the best pancakes they ever had anywhere. I have trusted and always use Betty Crocker recipes for 51 years, I do add my own touches. But I am proud to say everthing I take or make is loved. Thank you Betty and I am so glad you keep her looks up to the time.

The recipe on the back of the box is slightly different. It says 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, tsp of vanilla, sugar and baking soda. I could taste the lemon juice because I knew it was there. I would make this again but without the lemon juice. My husband liked it. Why add lemon juice though?

The addition of baking powder and lemon juice is what makes a difference in these pancakes; they act the way a yeast would to make the pancakes very light and fluffy. I too needed to use a bit more milk to thin the batter, and they cooked up quick and easy. You can't taste any lemon, so don't be afraid to try it. This will be my go-to pancake recipe from now on.

I love this recipe and have used it for years. If I don't have lemon juice,I will use orange juice instead. I also had chocolate chips, when I need a chocolate fix!

Instead of milk I use buttermilk! Everyone thinks they are homemade!

these were good! though i could tast the lemon and my husband asked "what's that tast?" he was surprised that there would be lemon in pancakes, lol. they took longer for some reason to cook too. they were good but no better in my opinion then any other pancake recipe.
