I substitute the garlic for grated onions. and did not used all that cheese it is "fattening" anyway. This is the only mac and cheese my husband really enjoy.

I had to laugh at a previous review that complained this was noodles and cheese..I thought that was what Mac and Cheese was..I am not quite sure what they expected. That is like making Chicken Noodle soup and expecting it to be something other than noodle soup. I thought it was very good..I loved the cheeses and had very little left over..

It was cheese and noodles. One of my guest said it was dry. Nobody raved about this. I wouldn't make it again. However, I just heated some leftovers and it tasted creamier and a bit better!

This looks Awesome, I'm going to try it asap!.. I wonder if I could add chicken to make it into a kind of casserole type dish? Has anyone tried this?

Made this tonight for my husband & some friends...I got rave reviews! I modified the recipe a little but it was delicious. So creamy and tasty. Try tossing in some bacon and some peas to jazz it up a little. Definitely making this again.

This was my first Betty Crocker recipe and it was TO DIE FOR!!! The only change I made was to double the panko/butter mixture because the amount asked of you barely covered the top of the caserole dish.. It was phenomenal.
