These aren't the prettiest cookies, but they taste great! Flax, oats and chia seed provide healthy grains, Agave replaces some sugar. This healthy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookie will make kids smile!

cup chia seeds, ground

cup rolled oats

ounces semisweet chocolate chips

ounces butter, softened
  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Mix together the flour, the flax, the chia, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, use a blender to mix the brown sugar, butter, egg, agave, and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients and mix. Then, add the oats and chocolate chips.
  4. Drop by tablespoon onto a baking sheet. Bake 12 minutes, until browned, turning once during baking. Remove sheet from oven, and let cookies set up for a couple minutes before removing to rack to completely cool.
