I made these for the first time tonight. I used them as a side for the Twisted Pizza Dogs. After hearing they were bland, I used 1C of cheddar instead of 1/2c and added 3 tablespoons of Parmesan to the dough in addition to the stuff on top. I also had leftover mini pepperoni that I mixed in the dough - that was good but made cutting them into strips more difficult. I also used olive oil instead of butter on top. I had trouble twisting the dough so I just left it in strips (probably because I added so much extra :-) For dipping I used Campbells Harvest Orange Tomato soup for both the breads and the dogs, turned into a great meal!

These were good. However they tasted abit like biscuits but lighter texture. Will probably do again but add a dash of garlic for a little more zip.

These sound great, but I was wanting to make these ahead of time for an after-party get-together. So could I refrigerate or freeze these and if so, how could I get them back to perfection when the time is right?
