Twin Cities Dogs

Two hot dogs, two kinds of cheese, served on two sticks and wrapped in a Crescent braid. What could be a better hot dog to represent the Twin Cities?

If you people would TAKE THE TIME to READ the ingredients & directions, from top to bottom, & picture one thing at a time in your head, you'd understand the directions. It's so easy! The directions are clear. As for the eggs: Whip/beat the eggs in a bowl with a fork or whisk, get a kitchen basting brush, & brush the entire top of the 'bun' with the beaten eggs. There you have it... Simple! Enjoy

just wondering if im reading a revised recipe cause it tells you in the steps what to do with cheese and egg wash...looks good going to try

LauraJean317, the egg is for the dough. Whisk it together and brush it on top of the dough before baking. It's a "glaze" of sorts, making the top of the dough look shiny and golden brown. However, no mention of the cheese is in this recipe in the instructions. It looks as if the cheese is INSIDE the hotdogs (and you've cut them down the middle), but the instructions says to put the hotdogs cheese side up? The instructions aren't clear at all.
