This was okay, but the next time I make I will be adding more flavor to the filling. As it is it kind of bland.

This recipe is a HIT!! For the absolute best results, use a freshly roasted chicken instead of the turkey it originally calls for. I also add about 1 fresh onion that I dice and carmalize first, and for added flavor and beautiful color, I add approximately 3 tablespoons of roasted red pepper.This recipe (as is) may not the the best one on this site, but if made with a few "pinches of this and that", you will definitely be adding this to your favorites!

I made this for a charity Pot-luck and it disappeared pretty quick. Just reading the recipe, it did sound sort of bland so I modified it a little by using chicken, instead of turkey, and added some garlic and paprika when cooking the chicken. I also added a little garlic powder to the egg mixture. I am making this again for a Memorial Day get together. I hope more people will try this and add some of their favorite seasonings that marry with the other ingredients.
