I made this for Christmas dinner last year and it was so good. It was actually the first homemade cheese cake that I made by myself and it turned out great. I used chocolate graham crackers for the crust instead of wafers. Turned out great.

I divided the recipe in two and used two premade Oreo crusts as one review suggested, and they turned out perfectly! This was the best cheesecake I've made yet! The only problem I had was the pecans burned while trying to toast them, so I had to go get more at the store. The second time around with those, I just sprinkled them on without toasting them, and it tasted just fine! I will definitely be making this again...I got a lot of compliments at Thanksgiving for this dessert!

To ophiasay91: I divided the recipe into 2 & used the 2 of the premade Oreo crusts (that you can buy at any local grocier). I know its not as homemade that way, but I didn't have a cheesecake pan & mine cooked perfectly that way.

I made this for my family last Thanksgiving and we all loved it! The only thing I had trouble with was the middle didn't get cooked all the way. We could only eat the sides of the cheescake because the middle didn't cook. I followed the exact directions. Has this happened to anyone before and how can I cook it perfectly?

Yum! We make these into cupcake sized servings to control portion sizes. We used a tart tamper to press the cookie crumbs into the cupcake papers. It took about 1/3 cup of batter to fill the papers. We cooked them for 22-25 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Finished the recipe with the toasted pecans, chocolate and carmel.

This was the best cheesecake I've ever had! I'd say right on par with Cheesecake Factory. So simple to make. I made this Turtle Pumpkin Cheesecake a couple of times, and each place I took one to, it was the favorite dessert, with everyone asking me for the recipe. So good!!

This was a big hit this Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I underbaked it (even following the time guidelines given) and it was a bit pudding-like in the center. Next time I would really make sure before taking it out of the oven. It is an extremely THICK cheesecake.
