Excellent - will try again. The plain GF brownie mix is too chocolaty for my taste, so adding the caramel and crunch of nuts helps tremendously. Used milk instead of cream since it wasn't worth buying for just 2 tb. Needs to cook longer than 25 min though, turned out very gooey - but still tastes wonderful. Thanks for the GF products, Betty!

I tried this and it's delicious, BUT - and I think this is probably because I'm not a very good cook so maybe somebody can tell me what I did wrong...it was not as cakelike as a brownie usually is - in fact it was so gooey we had to eat it with a spoon!??? I'm thinking the next time I try it I'll leave out the chocolate chips - yes?

3 words: TO DIE FOR!!! I used the caramel pieces that aren't in wrappers and half and half instead of whipping cream. My father, who is not GF, is begging me to make this recipe again!

AMAZING!!! The first gf brownies I've made, love, love, love them. I followed the recipe exactly, unwrapping the caramels and all ...... lot of calories and fat though, but for a once in a while treat, I say let them eat cake ..... or brownies. (wink-wink)

AMAZING, THESE ARE WONDERFUL :) MY HUSBAND HAD THEM AT A FAMILY REUNION AND I FOUND OUT WHO MADE THEM AND SHE SAID SHE GOT THE RECIPE ON THE WEBSITE. WE HAD USED THE MIXES, BUT DIDN'T DO TOO MUCH WITH THEM,I WAS SO IMPRESSED WHEN I CHECKED OUT THE WEBSITE AND THE DIFFERENT VARIATIONS OF THE SAME 4 MIXES. ALSO SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT BISQUICK IS COMING.

These were a great hit with my celiac family members as well as non-celiac folks. I used ice cream caramel instead of melting individual caramels though. It's really rich but the platter was pratically licked clean! I'll be making this again for the "spru-inclined" in my family. :)

This is fabulously decadent! My sister made it as a special treat for our extended family. We have 6 gluten-free members now, but EVERYONE ate these up. You would never know that this is gluten free (except that the GF brownie mix is a bit more pricey than regular mixes). Very easy to make!

I made this recipe for a friend who was couldn't eat gluten and it was delicious! A little sweet with all the chocolate in it, but it was great. Almost like fudge, but some Vanilla ice cream or some milk would balance that out! People who weren't on gluten-free diets loved them too (like me)! I don't know if the edges would get hard or not, but I put about a 1 inch piece of aluminum around the top edges of the pan to prevent it from getting hard...and the next day they were perfect! Oh yeah, and instead of unwrapping all those caramels, I just used the caramel ice cream topping that comes in a bottle (without adding the cool whip). Worked out just fine!
