In response to Kalimae-- Why couldn't you use the regular choc chip cookie mix and add cocoa and extra choc chips? May need to add another spoonful or water or oil?? Just an idea! Hope it helps--going to try this tomorrow this way and see how they go.

No one in my area (within 50 miles) sells the Betty Crocker double chocolate chunk cookie mix! I am so disappointed too because several of these bars call for this mix and I really want to try them. :( Can I substitute something else in the place of this mix?

I made these they were good but the bottom around the corners were a little dry I did as the recipe called for, should I use foil on bottom of pan and and spray before the crust is put down or should I use a glass baking dish? What will help from being to dry??

These are amazing with a big glass of milk! I used the minature rolo's and did not cut them. I take a different treat to work every Friday and these are now #1 for the favorite sweet.

If you like chocolate, you'll love these! They are the richest tasting brownie I ever made!! The family loved them and my prayer group loved them. They're fantastic!! I wouldn't change a thing...:)
