pound fully cooked smoked turkey sausage ring, cut into 1/2-inch slices

cup shredded carrot

cup chopped onion

cans (15 1/2 ounces each) great northern beans, drained and 3/4 cup liquid reserved

teaspoon dried marjoram leaves

teaspoon dried thyme leaves

teaspoon pepper
  1. Mix all ingredients including reserved bean liquid in 2- to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low heat setting 6 to 8 hours, or until hot and bubbly, to blend and develop flavors.
