I tweaked a few of the ingrediants, too. I did add a bit of salt, more cheese (because we are big cheese lovers) also a clove of garlic(minced)and used a lb of lean ground beef instead of turkey. It was a winner!!! I did review the previous comments and that gave me the nudge to spiff it up abit.

This is a great recipe! I'm just trying to find some new, different things to cook - get tired of the same old thing. My fiance' loved it and so do the girls at work. I'm sharing this recipe with them.

I loved this recipe. I cooked it for my parents so that we could try something different and it turned out great. I did add a little seasoning salt and pepper because the italian seasoning was not enough. It worked out great in my opinion since my dad didnt use any salt and usually pours instead of sprinkles salt on his food.

I deleted the cheese products and added fat free sour cream and increase tomato sauce. It was low fat and fantastic. The family is excited about left over tonight!!

I think the missing ingredient is salt. Salt as a seasoning ties all the other flavors together to draw out the best of the flavorings. Be careful not to add too much; remember, the idea is to draw out the other seasonings, not taste the salt. I use alot of kosher or what is called coarse salt; I feel you can use less but still enhance a dish.

This meal is very filling and easy to make and the ingredients are rather inexpensive for someone with an unstocked cubbard. As in taste, the only seasoning it calls for is a little Italian seasoning which makes the whole dish a little bland. On the other hand, though, younger children like bland. My two year old daughter loved it (she''s very picky) and my next door neighbor''s 11 year old almost gulped in one bite. I would add a little more cheese and maybe a little bit of spice. Great stuff!
