Make a dilly of a cool sandwich with deli turkey, cheese and crunchy cucumber slices.

Ingredients

1/4
cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1
tablespoon dried dill weed
8
slices multigrain bread
1/2
pound sliced cooked deli turkey
4
slices (1 ounce each) dill Havarti or Muenster cheese
16
thin slices cucumber
4
lettuce leaves

Directions

  • 1 Mix mayonnaise and dill weed. Spread on one side of each bread slice.
  • 2 Top 4 slices with turkey, cheese, cucumber and lettuce. Top with remaining bread.

Expert Tips

If you have fresh dill growing in the garden, use 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill weed in place of the dried dill weed.

Add carrot and celery sticks with your favorite dip for an easy summer meal. Serve ice cream and fresh berries for dessert.
