Turkey Brats with Sweet Slaw

Dress up grilled bratwurst with cabbage salad from the deli, and dinner's ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 5 fresh turkey bratwurst
  • 5 bratwurst or hoagie buns, split
  • 5 teaspoons honey mustard
  • 1 1/4 cups sweet cabbage salad (from deli)

Steps

    Heat gas or charcoal grill. Place bratwurst on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 6 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until bratwurst are no longer pink in center. During last 1 to 2 minutes of cooking time, place buns, cut sides down, on grill; cook until lightly toasted.

    Spread 1 teaspoon mustard on each bun bottom. Top each with bratwurst and 1/4 cup cabbage salad; cover with bun tops.
