2cups uncooked gemelli (twist) pasta (8 ounces)
1 1/2cups cubed cooked turkey
1/2cup dried cherries
1/4cup slivered almonds, toasted
1medium stalk celery, thinly sliced (1/2 cup)
3or 4 medium green onions, chopped (1/4 cup)
3/4cup refrigerated poppy seed dressing

1.Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
2.In large bowl, mix pasta and remaining ingredients except dressing. Pour dressing over mixture; toss until coated. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving.

Substitution
Rotini or juniorettes pasta can be used instead of the gemelli.
How-To
Toasting almonds is easy. Just place them in an ungreased shallow pan and bake at 350°F for 6 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
