Turkey and Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ three cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups Frozen Broccoli Cuts
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)

    In 10-inch skillet, cook turkey over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain.

    Stir in milk, hot water, uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box), oregano and pepper flakes. Heat to boiling.

    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in broccoli. Cover; simmer 5 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; cook uncovered until cheese is melted.

  • To ensure you're getting truly low-fat ground turkey, be sure that you buy ground turkey breast meat.
  • Would you rather use basil? Or thyme? Go ahead and replace the dried oregano with the herb of your choice!
