Tuna-Pickle Pitas

Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 oz) light tuna in water, drained
  • 1 large carrot, shredded (1 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon coleslaw dressing
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed, if desired
  • 4 pita breads (6 inches in diameter), cut in half to form pockets

Steps

    Mix all ingredients except pita breads.
  • 2
    Spoon tuna mixture into pita bread halves.

  • Don't fret if there isn't any coleslaw dressing in your fridge. Just use mayonnaise or salad dressing instead.
  • Make a melt! Spread this tasty filling on top of toasted English muffin halves, and top with cheese. Broil just until the cheese is melted.
