EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Not to be confused with white candy coating (or almond bark), white vanilla baking chips and white chocolate baking bars have rich vanilla and dairy flavors, and are less sweet than almond bark.

White vanilla baking chips burn easily, so it's important to melt them over low heat while stirring frequently.

These were excellent. I don't like bars that are dried out, so I tend to go with the shortest baking time. I did not add the nuts since I'm the only one that likes them. These turned out very moist and sweet and I'm sure would be great with the nuts added.
