Disappointing! Very bland flavor, needed more cherries. Wouldn't make this one again. The frosting was too greasy and did not have the rich chocolate flavor I was expecting. It was, however, extremely easy to make, but that isn't a deciding factor - it also has to taste good.

Excellent recipe even without the icing. I think it would be good with nuts added. I'll try that next time.

Quick, easy, & delicious! My family loves these. I would consider it to be more of a cake, than a "bar."

I made these bars for my husbands crew at his job, They were having a potluck that day, about a year ago. Now just about every three weeks they are requesting my husband ask my to make them somemore. My niece was over one night(not a chocolate lover at all) and asked to make something for her cheerleading teams bake sale. I made these in 3 9X9 tin pans, topped them with 3 Maraschino cherries. They look pretty and tasty. That evening she called me and asked me for the recipe. I guess one of the girls on the team bought one and shared with the rest of the team. They too loved it, even my niece. I dont think ill be loosing this recipe.

hi! I made this cake with devil's food super moist cake mix and blueberry pie filling. i also used spray oil that has flour in the spray inside of the cake pans. i melted the remaining half bag of chocolate chips (reg size), stirred them together until blended, and then spread the melted chips on top of the cake when it was still slightly warm. i made two round cakes and frosted them with out placing them on top of each other. the edges are kinda crispy when i cooled the cake. after i frosted the top of the cakes, i trimmed the edges off. of course my boyfriend ate those cake edges! this cake is so moist. the blueberries have a nice flavor. diane
