Berry time is shortcake time! Here's a quick and easy version.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint (2 cups) strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup raspberry- or orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice
  • 6 sponge shortcake cups
  • 1 1/2 cups lemon sorbet or sherbet

Steps

    Toss berries, sugar and liqueur. Let stand 1 hour.

    Top each shortcake cup with sorbet and berries.
