I don't know what I did wrong, but these just fell apart on me. they would not hold their shape at all. they were not as attractive as the picture, just a big brown blob of a mess. I could not get them to hold their shape and absolutely not to stay on a stick. ended throwing the whole thing out. a huge waste and now I don't have the treat I'm supposed to show up with tomorrow.

I would say these were a hit. Next time I will add mini m&m''s to the mix and maybe try some cut up dried apricot in place of the raisins. Great snack!

I made these for 22 gals on a Honky Tonk Mystery Bus Trip in Texas. We played the game & my character was to protect the "Cuero Bound Bus" from extraterrestials. I covered the balls in plastic wrap, then aluminum foil and put them on wacky straws (too cute). As I passed them out I explained that the foil would keep the players "safe from ET''s". Not only was it fun but everyone loved the treats. I added M&M''s to them so they were larger than the 2" and truly delicious. I also gave the recipe''s out on small cards to everyone. This one''s a definite Keeper.
