A wonderfully rich and traditional tasting Scalloped Potato recipe that will please friends and family in any setting from pot luck to holiday meal.

lbs Russet Potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)

cups heavy (whipping) cream

cups whole milk

teaspoon butter
1
small yellow onion (finely diced)
1
teaspoon salt
1
teaspoon pepper

ounces *cheddar cheese blend
Butter Flavored Pam
  1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Prepare a 2-quart baking dish with Pam spray and set aside
  2. In a large saucepan, heat the cream, milk, butter, salt, and pepper to simmer over medium-high heat taking care not to scald.
  3. Add potatoes and onion, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Layer baking dish with 1/3 of the potato/cream mix then add 1/3 of the cheese mix. Alternate layers ending with cheese on top.
  5. Cover and bake for 30 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
  6. Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
