My deceased mother-in-law made a rice pudding with raisons in a double boiler on the stove that my husband really misses. I have tried to duplicate this flavor by oven methods without any luck. Can you help. She used white rice and I remember having to help her with the stirring which took some time. (she already had ingredients and all steps completed by the time she called for stirring help. ) It seems like about 3-5 minutes . It was,nt too thick or too thin and was always served warm. Can you help me?
