These bars were the hit of my Christmas the past two years. They are very easy to make. I couldn't find caramel chips so I substituted butterscotch and they were delish! I line a baking pan with tinfoil and pour right in. Makes the perfect shape. Also, make sure to cool before cutting otherwise you won't get the pretty triangle shape. A serious must!!! Love them

This recipe was just okay. Nothing special. Could not find the chips specified in the recipe so I used caramel bits and chocolate chips.

I love toffee, but I didn't care for the crust very well on this bar...kinda dry and not very buttery/rich tasting; too floury tasting, and it tended break off from the nut layer. The nut layer and topping tasted good. I couldn't find the swirled chips at my grocery, so I used chocolate chips and toffee bits, which was good. I don't think I'd make it again, but try a different recipe instead.
