The classic Italian tiramisu dessert turns super easy with a bar cookie version.

These are really good. I ended up using almond instead of vanilla because I didn't have any. Really good.

If you are accustomed to having authentic tiramasu .... skip this recipe & take the time to make the real deal. It was much quicker to make, but tastes nothing at all like real tiramasu. Tiramasu doesn't have a strong flavor of chocolate, which this does, & it has that wonderful Italian creme that this doesn't.It has strong flavors of chocolate & cream cheese instead ! I made a double batch thinking one would never be enough ... we threw away all but the 3 pieces I had served up. My first ever "reject" recipe from B.C., I won't be making this again.

This is a great recipe for the kids to help you with to they love to mix and garnish the bars with chocolate.

This was the easiest Tiramisu recipe that I had ever tried! The blending of the flavors was delicious and the texture creamy. Next time I will double the recipe.
