Very easy to make. Also made with two 8 inch round pans for a layer cake as son's 1st birthdsy smash cake. It was a hit! Doesn't really matter how well you disperse the colors; it'll look awesome any way you do it! I frosted with blue frosting, so all of the inside colors were s surprise!

very easy to make - be careful to distribute batter evenly among bowls and cupcakes (i ran out of red-had 2 with no red but not a prob). i also didn't "layer" my colors so my colors were more swirled than stacked but still not a problem - turned out very cute and tasted good

I made these cute cupcakes for my daughter to take to school for her class on her 8th birthday. She and all her classmates absolutely loved them. I will be making them again but I am going to make her birthday cake the same way. only I will use two 9 inch round cake pans. I can't wait to see how this turns out. The only thing I will do instead when frosting the cupcakes will be to use only 2 colors. Three was just too much to try to fit in the pipping bag.

I made these for my daughter to bring to school and the students loved them. They look so cool. The frosting is a little tricky to make. All the hard work and preparing is all worth it.

Just made these for a block party where there were lots of kids. They turned out amazing and were fun to make. Sure there were extra steps, but the finished product is worth it.

I just made these cupcakes and they turned out fantastic! TIP ON USING JUST TWO MEASURING BOWLS: I only used one bowl to mix the batter and a 2 cup measuring cup for all of the mixing. The batter makes about 6 cups, so just divide it into however many colors you have. Rinse out the measuring cup after each use. As for the frosting, divide a third of the frosting into the measuring cup and keep the rest in their containers (4oz from each to create 3, 8 oz of frosting. Mix dye directly in frosting containers. Can't wait to share these cupcakes with my friends and family. So fun!
