Instead of serving cheese spreads separately, layer them for an attractive appetizer. Sliced almonds and chopped parsley add crunch and color.

I made this, and it was a hit! However, I could not find the swiss cheese spread that it called for. I used a white cheddar spread and a port wine cheese spread for the middle instead. I would definitely make this again for another party.

I think this is a great idea. I have seen these in magazines but they cost a bunch. I always wondered how they did it. I would guess we could use any kind of cheese spread that we liked. Also, I think instead of parsley, chopped pecans might be a good alternative. Maybe put pecans inbetween layers? I can't wait to try this one for the holidays. :-D
