package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

teaspoon ground mustard

cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz)

cup crumbled Stilton cheese
1/2
cup chopped drained roasted red bell peppers (from 7-oz jar)
1/4
cup chopped fresh chives
1/2
cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans

large apple, sliced
Assorted crackers
  1. In large bowl, stir cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and mustard until blended. Stir in Cheddar and Stilton cheeses, bell peppers and chives.
  2. Divide cheese mixture in half. Shape each half into a log. Roll logs in walnuts. Wrap each log separately in plastic wrap or waxed paper. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until firm.
  3. Place cheese logs on serving platter. Serve with apple slices and crackers.
Makes 20 servings (2 tablespoons spread, 1 apple slice and 1 cracker each)

Stilton is a pungent English blue cheese. Another blue cheese, such as Gorgonzola or American blue cheese, could be substituted.
