Five ingredients and 10 minutes is all you need to make this delicious medley – perfect for a side dish.
quart deli three-bean salad (4 cups)
tablespoons packed brown sugar
slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
Heat three-bean salad and brown sugar in 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until hot and sugar is dissolved.
Sprinkle with bacon.
Two 15-ounce cans of three-bean salad, undrained, can be substituted for the deli salad.
Serving this salad in small shallow preserve or canning jars is fun. It's great for toting to picnics, and it keeps the bugs away.
