Delicious cookie. I made three shades of dough; dark pink,medium and light. Had a ball arranging combinations of different sizes and shades of pink.

If I hadn't gotten this recipe directly from Betty Crocker's website, I would've thought the vinegar was a joke. But, that and the ginger give the cookie a very distinctive taste--above and beyond a sugar cookie. I found that I definitely needed to add milk to my dough to roll it out.

What an interesting combination of ingredients, white vinegar and ginger! I think it made them a delightful cookie. I made half the dough in pink and left the remainder as is and then frosted the pink cookies with pale pink frosting and the other half of the cookies I frosted with bright red. They were very pretty. I will have to try making them again and layer the cookies as the recipe suggests. I sent these to work with my husband and they were a hit, everyone asked for the recipe.
