K, i will admit i put the oil in with the seasoning. which was a big mistake. but i wasn't just gonna throw away the seasoning so i still used it. the potatoes still came out ok, but next time i wont i put the oil in the seasoning(dumb on my behalf). :P i used the thick and chunky mild salsa and it was indeed spicy. but after all was said and done my daughter and i still ate it. i will give it another shot sometime soon.
