This is good but, beans add for a more fullfilling meal + fiber. any kind of beans will work. Black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans etc. u can also use a can of rotel tomatoes & either corn or white hominey. I serve it over totilla chips with shredded cheese & sour cream. My family loves it!

This was good, but I prefer more ingredients: Slow cooker, hamburger (cooked), 2 cans each of pinto and black beans, can southwest corn, (none of them drained) taco seasoning, tomatoes, 2 cans of tomato sauce, it should fill the whole thing up, let it cook on high for 8 hours while your at work, put it on warm for a little bit to cool it down, sour cream and chips and it's amazing. Will try fresh ingredients next =)

This soup was really good. I used ground beef and I added salt, pepper, taco sauce, and taco seasonings. I also added mexican blend cheese. The chips added a nice crunch to the soup. I would definitely make this again!

I have made this soup several times and it is always a hit. The grocery stores here do not carry the refrigerated sauce with meat, so I usually cook chicken and chop it up in the food processor and add half a pack of taco seasoning, and anywhere between 1/4 and 1/2 cup of taco sauce, it does the trick.

I love the idea of Taco Soup, but it has to much sodium. I think this soup could be made with fresh ingredients and still done in a timely matter. I would like to do a remake of this recipe and submit a low sodium version.

This was really good. I added mild chili beans and another time black beans also. Our Walmart carries ground turkey that is seasoned and labeled Taco Meat which makes this really healthier.Very quick to make.
