Taco Casserole

Craving tacos, and you have all the ingredients except the shells? No problem! This hearty meal tastes just like tacos and is equally as easy…plus it puts to good use those broken tortilla chips at the bottom of the bag.

My family loved this dish! I made it with taco seasoning in the burger mixture. I mean what are tacos without the taco seasoning?! This tasted just like tacos without having to mix everything together one by one in a shell and is very easy to make. I thought about eliminating the sour cream until serving it as another reviewer mentioned. I might have to try that next time.

I absolutely love this dish! I omitted putting the sour cream in the dish to bake. Just added it to the top of the serving on the plate. It's almost like a mashed up taco! I also used ground turkey instead of beef, and a mixed shredded cheese. It turned out fantastic! It smells so good coming out of the oven. This is definitely a keeper!
