Not so great. The taste was good but it was much too dry. I even added 1/2 cup of water to the meat n corn mixture but it needed more. Also, there was too much cheddar biscuit topping. I doubt I will ever make it again.

Easy to make, easy to love! I hate corn, so I added half a can of black beans and sliced black olives to the beef instead. I'm a bit puzzled by the huge amount of the biscuit topping mix called for...an 8" square pan is pretty small. I mean...I love Bisquik but it shouldn't overpower the filling. Half of what the recipe calls for is plenty. Bisquik is also very forgiving...so if your batter is too dry (as mine was) you can always add another tablespoon or so of milk. I will probably add more cheese to the mix next time too. Served with crunchy iceberg lettuce and sour cream - just delicious! This is a keeper.

Oh man! Oh man! I made this last night and it was DELICIOUS! I didn't have any corn but I had a bag of mixed vegetables which worked out even better, if I do say so myself! I even had seconds and sneaked in a little bit of thirds too. Hey...I'm a guy and I love to eat! This one is definitely a keeper!

I made this for my husband and a male guest. For 3 people, we almost finished the whole thing! This is def not for 6 people! I added half an onion diced cooked with the meat and added worcestershire sauce. Going through all the past comments, the biscuit batch was perfect. I plan on making this again for many years to come and will try adding black beans in the meat and refried beans on the bottom of the pan. I served this with green salad. Yummy!

I have been making this since high school (early 90's) and it's still tasty. Super easy and the kids like it too!

This was super eays and affordable! My whole family enjoyed it and it was easy to sneak in extra veggies. I love the idea of using cornbread with this dish. Adding a dollop of sour cream on top made this dish!

Very good. A bit spicy for my husband. I may use just half a package of the Taco seasoning next time.

Ok, I have been attempting to make something different and new to me at least once a week. I haven’t been on my own for too long and am not used to cooking on a regular basis. I try to find recipes that will not send me to the grocery store with a huge list. This was easy and delicious! I also appreciated that I had most ingredients on hand. I followed the advice of some of the other reviews and added black beans and onion. My boyfriend loved it and so did I. I will keep this recipe on hand! I was surprised with the amount of flavor it had. I finished with a dollop of sour cream. Yum-O!
