This recipe was really delicious. I added a can of black beans to the filling. I would recommend using half of the bisquick mixture as it really rises and soaked up a lot of the filling. Yummy!

Loved this! My mom used to make this for us as kids. Tonight I made it for the first time for my son. He loved it! And he's picky!!! I added black beans. This will be a regular on our dinner menu's list.

Not a fan of the soft Bisquick pancake textured topping so made a variation with crushed corn tortilla chips over the top. I added them as a layer before adding the shredded cheese. Creates a crispy corn topping more in line with a corn taco shell.

Good recipe. I sauted some onion, green pepper, red pepper and garlic and added meat to brown. Rinsed and added seasonings.(Did not use packaged seasoning as to cut down on sodium) I topped the meat with a canned fiesta nacho cheese cream soup and then the green chiles. The Bisquick recipe I had on line was the gluten free and I had regular so I quick looked up a regular taco bake with original bisquick and it came out perfect. We topped with salsa, sour cream, black olives.

I made this dish last and my family loved it. I followed the other comments and used cornbread for the top and it was a hit. My youngest daughter said that I should make this a again. It was really easy to make too.

My family really enjoyed this! My two young sons (13 & 10) kept saying how "good it was". I used Mexican cornbread and a small amount of Bisquick for the topping. the topping was a little sweet. The next time I make this I will omit the Bisquick and use only Mexican cornbread.
