EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

For an additional time-saver, look for already sliced chicken breast strips in the meat aisle (the package may be labeled "chicken for stir-fry"). You'll need about 1/2 pound of strips for this recipe.

I like the spiciness of Szechuan, but I don't see any 'heat' mentioned in the ingredients, unless it comes from the frozen mixed vegetables. Is that the case? Haven't tried this, so that's why there is a lower rating. Would like to know about the 'heat' issue, however. Thanks in advance.

I thought this was a pretty good meal although I made some changes. I didn't use the bag mix they suggested because I didn't like the vegetable mix. I ended up buying a different stir fry mix and some bottled sauce. Next time I will use fresh vegetables because frozen ones end up mushy.

I think this is a pretty good meal to make when you are not sure what to have for dinner and you want to incorporate a good mix of veggies and flavor. Very easy to make and delicious. Its sweet and spicy at the same time. I really liked it. Oh yeah, I couldnt find the corkscrew pasta at the store, so I ended up using the tri-colored rotini and it turned out good!
