I made this recipe for a 4th of July party. It was quick and easy. It was cooled and ready to go in less than an hour. I made the "cookie" bottom in a star shaped pan and added 1/4 cup sliced almonds to the dough before pressing into the pan. The chocolate was easy to spread and looked great. It was a little tricky getting out of the pan because of the higher sides, but it didn''t stick! I sprinkled additional sliced almonds on the cherries before drizzling white chocolate. What a hit! And, it was prettier than the store-bought treats at the party we went to!
