Skip the deep-fried French fries in favor of these tasty oven-baked wedges. You'll need just four ingredients and 10 minutes prep time.

Ingredients

4
medium unpeeled sweet potatoes (1 1/2 lb)
2
tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 450°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • 2 Cut sweet potatoes into 1/2-inch wedges. In large bowl, toss potatoes and oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place potatoes in single layer in pan.
  • 3 Bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until potatoes are golden brown and tender when pierced with fork.

Expert Tips

Instead of using salt and pepper, try your favorite seasoned salt or herb blend on these low-fat fries.
