A baked-on nut topping and spicy sweet potato filling set this cheesecake apart from the ordinary.

This cheesecake is all that and more. I loved it. I will eat this over sweet potatoe pie any day. And the topping was excellent. I took a few pieces to work and let a few people taste it...and they asked for the recipe. One person had never taste sweet potatoe pie until that day and after she taste the sweet potatoe cheesecake she had said it was way better than the pie. I was so overwelmed by the smell of it while it was cooking I almost didn't eat it, because it smelled so good. I will definately be making more of these all the time. I LOVE IT....MMMMMM GOOD!!!!

I must say that this cheesecake is now the most requested cheesecake in my family. Even my mother who doesn't like cheesecake loves this one. My family prefers the cheesecakes without the crumb topping though. It's good to me either way.

I own my own bakery and have made my own reciepe for sweet potato cheesecake. But this one is much easier! Tried bc's reciepe against mine and my family couldn't tell the difference. Kudos to betty crocker!!! Great reciepe for those that are not true bakers!

I added 1 teaspoon of ginger for some extra spice. Good change from the traditional cheesecake.I will make this recipe a keepsake.

Do you have to do the whole "place it in another pan of water" or can I just bake it?

I make cheesecakes on the side for a living and develop my own recipes so I definitely know a good cheesecake recipe from a bad one. This is my very favorite cheesecake to make. Simply amazing. I honestly couldn't have done a better job with this than Betty Crocker. Just superb, simply fantastic!
