I used Chex Mix instead, plus I went heavy on the walnuts. After they baked together, the nuts gave the snack a wonderful toasted, nutty taste. Everyone goes crazy for this recipe. I also tossed in a bag of M&Ms and raisins to the mixture after it cooled down. This is surely a quick and easy recipe to keep for a lifetime. This is a real hit with children for snacktime too.
