Eating Smart
Papayas, once considered exotic, now appear regularly in mainstream grocery stores. Low in calories (about 25 per cubed 1/2 cup), papayas are nearly fat free. They also provide plenty of fiber and vitamins A and C-nutrients essential to good health.
Staying Active
Walkers, take note-walking on sand or soft dirt will boost your energy expenditure by as much as one-third. More energy expended means more calories burned and better conditioning.
