LOCATION

Directions

  • 1 Cut beef into beef strips. (Beef is easier to cut if partially frozen, about 1 1/2 hours.)
  • 2 Heat 12-inch skillet or wok over high heat. Add oil; rotate skillet to coat side.
  • 3 Add beef; stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown; drain. Stir in salsa, ketchup, brown sugar and mustard. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes or until hot. Serve in tortillas with remaining ingredients.

EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Look for red and green southwestern-style tortillas near the deli or in the Mexican-foods aisle of the supermarket. These colorful wraps will give your fajitas a festive look!

Flour tortillas are easier to fold and less likely to tear when they’re warm. Simply wrap tortillas in a clean dish towel or cover with paper towels, and microwave on High for 10 to 15 seconds or until just warm.

These were absolutely awesome! They tasted great. The sauce was really tangy but still sweet b/c of the brown sugar. They were so quick and so easy. I will definitely be making these again, though next time I might cut the sauce in half because this recipe made a TON of it...still great though.

I made this recipe for my parents and myself and although my dad really liked it, my mom and myself did not at all like it. It is much sweeter than I expected. I will not make it again.
