Sweet and Sour Pork Skillet

Turn to two kinds of Asian noodles, blended with quick-cooking pork strips and prepared sweet-and-sour starter kit, for this appealing dish.

Ingredients

2 1/2
cups uncooked dumpling egg noodles (4 oz)
3
boneless pork loin chops (about 1 lb), cut into 1/4-inch-thick strips

teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper

green onions, cut diagonally into 1/2-inch slices

pkg (19 oz) Green Giant™ Create a Meal!® frozen sweet & sour stir fry meal starter
1
cup chow mein noodles

Directions

  • 1 Cook noodles in Dutch oven or large saucepan as directed on package. Drain; return to Dutch oven and cover to keep warm.
  • 2 Meanwhile, spray 12-inch nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat until hot. Sprinkle pork strips with salt and pepper. Add pork and onions to skillet; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until pork is browned, stirring frequently.
  • 3 Add frozen vegetables, contents of pineapple pouch and frozen sauce from packet; mix well. Cover; cook an additional 7 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
  • 4 Add cooked noodles; toss gently to coat. Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve topped with chow mein noodles.

Expert Tips

Serve lemon sherbet and fortune cookies for dessert.

Use 1 pound of sliced chicken breast or turkey breast tenders in place of the pork.
