Super Supreme Nachos

Ingredients

  • 25 tortilla chips
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 bag (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese (1 cup)
  • Extra salsa, if you like

Steps

    Heat the oven to 400°. Cover the cookie sheet with the aluminum foil.

    Put the tortilla chips on foil-lined cookie sheet. Spoon the salsa evenly over tortilla chips. Sprinkle the cheese on top of salsa and chips.

    Bake for about 4 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Use the pot holders to take cookie sheet out of oven.

    Serve nachos with the extra salsa, if you like.

  • For a single-size snack, you can zap these nachos in the microwave. Put 5 tortilla chips in a circle on a microwavable dinner plate. Spoon a small amount of salsa on each chip. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Microwave uncovered on High 20 to 30 seconds or until cheese is melted.
