I have made this salad all summer and love it! It's great alone for a simple lunch. I tried adding celery but wasn't crazy about it; the flavor was overwhelming. I do add lots of sharp cheese. Have made this with reg. mayo, low-fat mayo (not fat free...yuck), and olive oil mayo. All work fine. Salad will keep 2-3 days.

Very simple and very delicious! I don't like onions, but the red onions give it a great flavor. I added 1/2 cup diced ham and 1/2 cup shredded cheese and the family loved it!

since it is so hot here in Texas, i wanted something fast and good and something my husband might enjoy, so i tried ths Sunny Broccoli Salad it was a hit. I changed a few things and added a few. I don't like raisins, so i had some dried cranberries on hand and used them instead, i also was out of red onions, so i used green onions and the sunflower nuts was a no-no. i also used light mayo I also added a few cherry tomatoes(home grown)and a few green olives. very very good, with grilled steak or chicken
