These were amazing! I changed it a bit to make it more holiday for myself by adding 1tbsp each of unsweetened cocoa powder & pumpkin spice to the sugar cookie mix.

I made these for a cookie exchange. I mixed Christmas sprinkles into the dough and instead of chocolate curls, I put a raspberry, a blueberry, and a mint leaf on top. They came out beautiful. I wonder if next time I might add some almond extract into the cookie dough :)

I made these but in a snickerdoodle cookie version. I followed the recipe on the sugar cookie bag and just rolled it in cinnamon sugar then placed them into a regular size cupcake pan. Came out great and for the filling, I just added a scoop of ice cream in it topped with chocolate/caramel drizzle.

StaceeF - Try spraying the entire cup of the pan with a non-stick spray. It seemed to work for me and I also pulled the cookie cups out of the pan shortly after I pulled them from the oven,, I didn't let them cool completely before taking them out of the pan. LadieAries28 - The shavings can be difficult to achieve. I would recommend grabbing a block of chocolate and using a potato peeler to create the shavings. It worked perfectly for me !! I hope these tips help you out ;)

These are SO delicious and VERY addicting !! The only trouble I had was after I had cooked for the alloted amount of time, the middle turned out still doughy... After cooling and filling them, you wouldn't notice. Overall - SCRUMPTIOUS !!

Love these! So easy to make. I changed the chocolate shavings to white chocolate and added red coloring to look like candy canes for the holidays. I had too much chocolate filling left over and hate to waste it. Guess ill have to find another great treat to make!!

This is one of the best recipes for truffles i have found. You cant beat it for how easy they are and how good they turn out. For those having problems with the dough cooking completely....it sounds like you are just plopping a ball in a muffin pan and baking. No, no, no. Get you a tart press. Its a little wooden utensil that looks like a dumbell except the balls are flat on the end. Put your dough balls in the pan and then use your press to make the indention. Bake them and then use the press again if they look a bit puffed up. Theyll turn out perfect every time!
