I made this with the Heart Smart Bisquick Light and it was delish! I added cranberries to the batter. I swapped in 1/4 cup oatmeal for some of the Bisquick, and used margarine for the streusel. It's our new family favorite. I think the trick is not to over mix the batter; just moisten all ingredients well.

I have used this recipe for many many, years. My family just loves it and can't wait for Sunday mornings to have it. Over the years I have altered the recipe a bit. Sometimes I add cinnamon and vanilla, or nutmeg. I always add extra sugar.

I have made this for years and have tweaked it some. I have doubled the topping and pour half the batter then half the topping and repeat. This way you get the topping thru and thru. Also, I've put a small amount white chocolate chips in the batter, gives the cake a creamy surprise.

I have been making this for my family since my children were very small and they are all now adults. It is a required breakfast for Christmas morning. So simple and so good that my son makes me double the receipe so he has plenty.

I have made this coffee cake since the early '70s. It is very good and I never received a complaint about it! It is best served warm.

This is the best coffee cake ever! I double the streusel topping and put half in the middle and half on top. I get requests for this all the time!
