I must share that I have been making Bisquick shortcakes for 50 years. Somehow they are better than scratch. I have been gluten free for about 16 months. I am still finding my way.
These shortcakes are spectacular! The texture and taste is different than the original, but closer than other gluten free flour mixes deliver. I think that there will always be a packet of gluten free Bisquick in my pantry from now on. And all because of these shortcakes. My husband says that they are better!
I did not drop them. I shaped them by hand as I always have shaped the traditional ones.
